Microfibre Scrubbys are designed to scrub basins, wall tiles, grout and any hard to get to places.

Traditionally, on cleaning trolleys, you find a sponge scourer that is used to scrub strong build up and grime. However, the problem with using an aggressive scourer is two fold.
First, it often wears down the surface too much in the process of trying to remove grime. In breaking down the surface of the item you are cleaning, there is an increased attraction and adhesion of future build up.

Secondly, the sponge area of the scourer harbours moisture, grime and germs, making it the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. In conclusion, the risk of cross contamination in multiple patient areas is increased from using sponge scourers.

The Scrubbys are nonabrasive, and will not scratch the surface area that is being cleaned. These are designed to scrub basins, wall tiles and grouts and can also be laundered just as much as our other microfibre cloths and mops – up to 500 times. Microfibre scrubbys are designed to remove 99.9% of germs from most non-porous surfaces. The cloths then sanitise themselves using their silver antibacterial properties.
