Bracton DP2 is a brewery-approved beer line cleaner that forms one part of a two-part system. When used with DP1, it effectively removes build-up and bacteria from all types of draught beer lines and systems. Approved for zero-degree cleaning, DP2 (in combination with DP1) should be used weekly as per the instructions. This cleaner is ideal for both commercial and domestic draught beer systems, as well as for soaking taps and fittings. It is highly effective, easily removes heavy build-up, and ensures a safer cleaning process.
Directions for using the Bracton DP1 and DP2:
Safety Precautions:
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves and goggles. Never mix DP1 and DP2 together in their concentrated forms.
Mixing the Solution:
Mix 80ml of DP1 and 80ml of DP2 separately into 5 litres of water. It's important to mix them separately into the water to create the working solution.
Cleaning Process:
Pull the working solution through the beer lines.
Allow the solution to soak in the lines for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight for best results.
Flushing:
After soaking, flush the solution from the beer lines with clean water. Use Bracton Test Papers to ensure all chemicals have been flushed out.
Final Steps:
Once the lines are clean and flushed, reconnect the beer and continue service.
