QAC Test Paper is for the quick and easy determination of quaternary ammonium compounds in solution. QAC Compounds exhibit microbicidal activity to most microbes at 200ppm concentration.
QAC is used in many sanitation applications, including food processing, dairy industry, beverage industry, canning plants, cooling towers and drinking water treatment to name a few. QAC levels need to be closely monitored to ensure the sanitiser is working effectively. Too little sanitiser will allow the growth of harmful bacteria, and too much can be toxic and corrosive to equipment. Use QAC Test Paper to quickly and effectively monitor sanitiser levels.
Immerse QAC Test Paper in solution and remove immediately. Hold the strip level for 5 seconds. Shake off excess water from the pad. Compare pad to colour chart. Sample must be at room temperature 25°C.
